Binding off and Belly news

Been a while.... I know....
I have been to hell and back since my last post and will not share too many gruesome details with my fellow crafters.
First off my knee is doing better , I did reinjure it when I slipped in dog pee ( ok that was a gruesome detail) so healing was slower than I expected and it is stiffer than the other...but I can still walk , run and function like ya average healthy, mobile woman !!! Give thanX!
I have had to take soem time to realign and re-evaluate .... You see, my husband and I have been separated now for the past 5 months. This was a mutual decision on our part and we are both better for it. It was hard at first, especially with the 3 boys, but we have been together since we were 15-16 years
( since teenage years folks) ... We both needed to take a breather, separately...and re-evaluate things ...All in all ~Who God put together no man can part !!!! and that is the truth ...We plan to work through our differences and get together back together as a healed family , soon ..Jah willing !!!! Again, my friends, this is a good thing ..a learning and GROWTH thing...
and ..drum roll please ...despite our separation we still have the utmost respect love and lust for each other !!!!! And I am blessed with a Baby ! Yes, My family is growing ! I am 11 weeks pregnant with our future !!!!!!
(yes, I will leave the gruesome details out like, the puking ,head aches, over eating like Ms.Piggy , not to mention the extreme tiredness and new found horny-ness)Weird timing and all but God waits on no man or woman ....

We were very surprised , had mixed feelings but mutually we accept our Blessing graciously ...
We have not made the family announcement yet and only my choice sistah-friends have been informed. I am not showing yet,( I feel bloated though)
So as far as the doc says I am due in mid December ...Dec 17, to be exact....
I took a hiatus from knitting a few months ago...and I have not started knitting anything yet for the new comer yet. But I a back...Yes, knitting is a part of who I am, and I am back on the block for more! As of last week I have begun seeking patterns for baby sweaters and will make the baby log cabin blanket ( I am having a winter baby so think: warm warm warm ) Along with that I want to make a newboy hat for Mr. Knot-so-Knice's b-day which is in a month...

Congratulations on your new addition. There is never a testimony without first being a test. I am happy that you have worked things out with your hubby. Love is a beautiful thing, and conquers all. I can't wait to see what you knit up. Check out wowio.com. They have a free downloadable book of baby patterns called "Knits, Knots, Buttons and Bows: Projects for Babies".
