Summin' up Sunday ...

Craft Nation , What's good ?

Take a look at what I got tangled into today ~

Soon to hit the finish line on the saucer hat for a very crafty friend..Need to add buttons and seam up as you can see ..

I am using the the Classic grey Cardie, ( yes the one from Vogue , you got it ! ) as the back drop because it is just one of the projects that is boring me, and i see that i need to rip back the right front ...grrrrrrrrr !!! S0 sad to say, it has now earned a dear spot on the "back burner" ..But just for now while i deal with other needle occupiers... XOXOXOXOX luv ya Grey !

I'm cheating again.....I'm churning out this little number below ,inch by inch.... Love the colors... I use to be a basic black type gurl.... black shoes, black jackets, black bags (it goes with every thing, I'm sure you have heard that b4) but as i get more in tune with my knitting self and live this crafty lifestyle, I see that color is so much more that just blue or green or pink..It is life lifting and changing , inspirational ,spiritual, fashion-forward and exciting.. Yarn quenches my thirst for that hint of color, that sudden splash or pop of unexpected hue... It enables me to be bolder that i ordinarily would be...
Just look at the color on my new fiber baby ...soon to be fan and feather stitch scarf
And lemme ask ya , " What is a gangsta-knitta suppose to do with her itty-bitty left over yarn, homie ?"
Duh, Make a mini mobious or a neck warmer, that's what !

will post this little pattern soon .. easy as frozen pie !

and finally, peep the black roll brim hat for the my huzbun ...round and round to the top ..Soon to give him this token of love...smooches ...

Lately, as in the past few weeks, size is every thing.... Getting the little projects done has been just as gratifying, satisfying and motivating to me as getting the big ones done ...
So, needless to say , the grey cardie , valued, of course, won't be done for a minute.... or two....
Got some other things on my mind ...
stay tuned ...

you know, I used to be a person who just loved to wear neutrals as well. Until knitting got hold of me. Seeing all the beautifully colored yarns has opened up a love of color in my that I didn't even know was there.

They came, They saw, The followed
